The 1KS Stage 2 Kit uses our reinforced Steel-Backed Full Face Kevlar® friction material. This kit features a single diaphragm heavy-duty pressure plate all while maintaining an OEM-like pedal feel and a super smooth engagement after proper break in. A few great advantages of Kevlar® is its longevity, super smooth engagement, and heat dissipation.
This reinforced Kevlar® sprung disc is engineered for vehicles that have basic bolt-ons, or an NA vehicle with headwork such as cams or a very low boost or Nitrous setup. Like all of our sprung kits, our Stage 2 kit features our fully enclosed spring retainers to help protect your investment from any springs popping out which can cause catastrophic damage to your transmission or engine as seen with competitors.
After each kit is assembled, it goes through multiple quality checks before it is signed off by one of our lead engineers (50+ years combined experience).
Break-in Procedure
1,000 street miles / Keep RPM’s under 4500, no more than half-throttle, no boost (if applicable)
