Action Clutch Stage 1 (1OS) Kits have been designed for vehicles ranging from stock to basic bolt-on cars. It utilizes a reinforced Steel Backed Copper Kevlar Organic friction material, coupled with a single diaphragm heavy-duty pressure plate to give you smooth and reliable engagement without sacrificing the OEM-like pedal feel.

We understand how catastrophic engine or transmission damage can be caused by springs popping out which is why we use our patented, fully enclosed spring retainers to keep your investment protected at all times. Every kit is quality checked by one of our experienced engineers (with over 60 years of collective experience) and signed off as safe before being released as a finished product. This gives you peace of mind knowing that your Action Clutch will perform consistently every time.

RECOMMENDED FOR HEAVY-DUTY STREET USE AND MILD TRACK-USE

Torque Holding Capacity: 305 ft/lbs

In mid-2018, Subaru updated the WRX clutch from 230mm to 240mm to improve durability. This larger setup became the standard for the 2018–2021 model years.

Check the last seven digits of your VIN to determine if this kit fits:

  • If your VIN is J*806877 or higher:
    • Your car has the larger 240mm factory setup.
    • This clutch kit is compatible with your OEM flywheel.
    • Note: This kit will not fit the Action Clutch chromoly flywheel AC105FW.
  • If your VIN is J*806876 or lower:
    • Your car has the older 230mm factory setup.
    • This clutch kit will not fit your car.
    • To use an Action Clutch product, you would need to run their 2015–2018 WRX clutch and flywheel combination instead.

Break-in Requirements
500 street miles / Keep RPM’s under 4500, no more than half-throttle, no boost (if applicable).
Proper break-in is required in order to retain product warranty, ensure longevity and holding capacity.

*Increase in holding capacity is rated in Crank Torque, not Wheel Torque
